Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

Prospective authors are invited to submit conference papers on conference topics.

Original papers not being submitted to journals or other conferences will be considered. All submitted papers will be reviewed by the program committee to ensure their originality, significance, fundamental insights, potential long-term contribution, correctness, presentation and relevance. We encourage authors to present their work on practical studies and experiments, critique of existing works, emerging issues, and novel ideas under development. Abstracts, full papers must be submitted electronically after registration as a conference participant. All of the authors of each presented paper must be registered as participants of the conference for the paper to be included in the proceedings.

    Your submission must satisfy the following requirements:
  • conference papers from 4 to 6 full A4 pages
  • or extended articles up to 8-15 pages.

Submission Preparation Checklist

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director).
  2. The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
  3. All URL addresses in the text (e.g., http://pkp.sfu.ca) are activated and ready to click.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 10-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Conference.
  6. If submitting to peer review, all Microsoft Office documents (including Supplementary Files) have been saved by going to File and selecting Save As; clicking Tools (or Options in a Mac); clicking Security; selecting "Remove personal information from file properties on save"; clicking Save.
